Over the years, the Musée de la santé Armand-Frappier has been recognized on several occasions for the quality of its activities, its dynamic programming, and the excellence of its team. Discover the awards granted to the Museum since its creation!
Here are the awards received by the Museum since its creation:
Awarded to Guylaine Archambault (Executive Director), this award recognizes her exceptional career since her beginnings as a moderator at the Museum.
This seal of quality is in keeping with internationally recognized standards for museological practices and heritage planning, protection, and presentation. It guarantees public access to a quality public institution. It is the confirmation of the recognition already obtained by the Museum from the Ministry in 2002.
This award recognizes an institution that has demonstrated initiative, innovation, and creativity in a project that engages visitors in science.
Awarded for the educational project « Allergies get people talking! », this Jury’s Choice rewards a major project carried out in collaboration with many partners, including the Simon-Vanier school and the organization « Déjouer les allergies! », which led to the production of five informative video clips. Organized by the Laval Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Dunamis competition showcases and encourages businesses and entrepreneurs who stand out for their involvement and contribution to the development of the Laval business community.
Awarded to Guylaine Archambault (Director General), this award recognizes her exceptional career path through which she has demonstrated determination, unwavering commitment, and remarkable leadership qualities by trusting those around her.
Awarded to the project « Sundays in a lab coat », this Jury’s Choice Award rewards a project that has been very successful with young people aged 9 to 12. In a series of nine scientific workshops, the young participants discovered various careers related to bioscience, while trying to address a scientific challenge.
This award recognizes front-line employees who have distinguished themselves in their businesses and in the tourism industry.
This award recognizes entry-level managers, reporting to a senior manager, who have distinguished themselves in their businesses and in the tourism industry.
Awarded to Martine Isabelle. This award recognizes the rigour and richness of the winner’s career and celebrates a significant contribution to the activities of our organization.
Awarded to Martine Isabelle. This is an award given to candidates aged 30 and under who have distinguished themselves in their businesses and the tourism industry, and who are seen by their peers as the leaders of tomorrow.
These awards were presented to the Museum as part of Tourisme Laval’s Soirée Reconnaissance 2009.
Awarded by the Conseil de la culture de la Ville de Laval, the Cultural Development Award recognizes « recent initiatives that have had a tangible impact on the development of Laval culture » and the Jury’s Choice Award recognizes the Museum’s team’s many efforts to engage a growing number of citizens in bioscience.
