Dr. Frappier’s Scientific Legacy Collection is a testament to biomedical and environmental research, protagonists, technologies, and research methods that perpetuate the work of Dr. Frappier, since the work of the latter still influences the work in progress today. Its purpose is to follow the evolution of the Center Armand-Frappier Santé Biotechnologie founded by Dr. Frappier, since his work still influences the work in progress today. These are therefore mainly research equipment objects and supplies used by the Center’s researchers. Archival objects and documents in this collection meet at least one of the following criteria:

Human Health Collection
This collection invites you to discover the highlights of biomedical research related to human health.

The Human Health Collection reflects the significant developments in biomedical research related to human health, mainly in Quebec, but also elsewhere in Canada and around the world. These objects serve as reference points, enrichment, or support to demonstrate the evolution of human health research over time. The Human Health Collection is a complement to the other two collections of the Musée de la santé Armand-Frappier. Given the institution’s resources, the number of archival objects and documents in this collection is limited and directly related to the Museum’s theme or programming. Archival objects and documents in this collection meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Archival objects or documents not from the Institute founded by Dr. Frappier, but reminiscent of those used at the Center
- Archival objects or documents used in research relating to human health
- Archival objects or documents used in the production of biological or pharmaceutical products related to human health
