Artists and their art help us to hold on during difficult times – like during a pandemic! But how much? What are the documented benefits of art on the physical and mental health of its artists and their audiences?

In this round table, scientific popularizer Jean-Daniel Doucet, accompanied by two experts, will shed a light on how art allows us to take care of ourselves, take care of others and to collectively stick together.

  • Marie-Paule Rozon, Director of the Drôladon theatre and Occupational Therapist, Mental Health, Art Therapy;
  • Guylaine Vaillancourt, Associate Professor, Music Therapy, Creative Arts Therapies (Concordia).

This round table offered in French can be purchased individually or in a series with the round tables of February 16, 2023, and March 29, 2023.

A self-guided visit of the Museum’s two exhibitions will be possible between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. for ticket holders for the event.
